Back in Blighty! Gemma Collins puts jungle nightmare behind her as she returns to UK... amid claims she is ready to quit TV 'for good'

What next? The TOWIE star is thought to be considering her future

Gemma Collins returned to the United Kingdom on Friday morning after reportedly vowing to quit TV for good following her nightmare in the Australian jungle.
The 33-year-old reality star quit the current series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! on Wednesday after spending just three days in the purpose built camp.
But while her TOWIE future remains secure, sources claim Gemma is seriously considering her next move after being left ‘traumatised’ by her brief cameo on the popular ITV show.

According to The Sun newspaper she confided to a friend: ‘This has been such a massive wake-up call. I had no idea this was going to be so hard. I've been on a rollercoaster ride for the last three years and it might be time to get off.

The plus-size star struggled with the lack of food on the show and claimed all she wanted was a ham sandwich and a packet of Quavers when she was given nothing but porridge to eat.
Following her departure, she also blamed her meltdowns on the emotional turmoil of splitting from boyfriend Alex Moss just hours before she flew to Australia.
She admitted that the show had proved too much for her and described the experience as "hellish"

She said: ‘Don't get me wrong, I love going for walks in the forests in England where there are no wild animals. I will never ever dislike nature, but I will just never ever come to Australia again.’
Coronation Street actor Craig Charles also decided to leave the jungle on Thursday after learning that his older brother Dean had suffered a fatal heart attack.
The sudden loss of two key campmates has left organisers of the long-running show struggling for alternatives – with no celebrity substitutes in line to take their place.

A source told The Sun: ‘Losing Gemma and Craig will throw everything into turmoil. Obviously everyone is incredibly understanding about Craig’s decision.
‘But Gemma’s exit is different. She couldn’t hack it and took the easy way out. Not only will this potentially affect t viewing figures, it will dent phone line revenues.
‘Lots of people would have voted for Gemma to do the Bush Tucker Trials. She could have been another Helen Flanagan and that would have been a major money-spinner.’
